LineKeepers

AES LineKeeper

The LineKeeper is designed to grip large ropes above 16mm in diameter than are normally too big to fit into a rope clutch and which do not require an expensive jammer. In cases where they just require a simple clamping device to hold the tail and keep the rope taught this is it. A typical example is a boom topper and spare genoa halyard on a super yacht mast. Both may be 24mm spectra rope and aside from an expensive jammer or an ugly horn cleat, the linekeeper is a nice solution.

Linekeepers have been fitted to the Dubois design 286 a 43m sloop built by Vitters and more recently to Aventura (Danish Yacht/Fontaine Design) by our European Distributors Sailing Perfection BV www.sailingperfection.com  who can be contacted directly at  info@sailingperfection.com
